Coastal Wellness Family Chiropractic’s Wellness Fair, set for 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, June 4, will include lectures, chair massages, spinal screenings, naturopathic consultations, mini-cranio-sacral sessions, and acupuncture consultations. Vendors of health-related products for physical, emotional, and mental health needs will be at the event, which will be free and open to the public.
Cape Elizabeth author Meg Wolff will sign copies of her new book, “A Life in Balance,” from 10 to 11:15 a.m. Foods based on recipes from the book also will be available.
Chiropractor Janel Voelker will speak at 10 a.m. on the topic, “Raising a Healthy Family, Naturally,” and at 10:30 a.m. she will discuss “Healthy Aging, Naturally.” Rebecca Goodwin will cover “Therapeutic Massage For Cancer Patients” at 10:30 a.m., and at 11 a.m., Lynn MacDonald Webber will discuss “Acupuncture and Women’s Health.” Also at 11 a.m., Beth Stockwell will speak on “The Connection Between Food and Your Waistline.” In the final lecture, planned at 11:30 a.m., Wolff will discuss how “Even Small Changes Make A Big Difference.”
Sessions on acupuncture, massage and naturopathic medicine will happen throughout the morning.
